Booking an appointment
To make an initial appointment please call 0413 092 448 or feel free to use the convenience of Online Bookings. A non-refundable $50 deposit will be required to secure your initial appointment. This will be deducted from your initial appointment cost when you attend.
Prior to booking your appointment you are welcome to call Leanne to have a quick chat with you to ensure that you have all the information before booking an appointment.
Online registration forms will be attached in a link in the booking confirmation email sent to you, complete these prior to your appointment. If you are unable to print these out, please arrive 10 minutes early to your first appointment and Jordan at Reception will provide you with copies.
If you have a referral (Mental Health Care Plan or Eating Disorder Management Plan) please provide a copy prior to your initial appointment. This will ensure that your Medicare Rebate can be claimed directly after payment.

If you have any questions regarding Medicare review appointments with your GP or if you require a new Mental Health Treatment Plan or Eating Disorder Plan, please send Leanne an email at info@nourishedminds.com.au and she will arrange a quick call to help.
* Fee Structure.
There are a range of ways clients may fund their appointments. Leanne can discuss the variety of options that she is able to offer depending on the individual circumstances.
Nourished Minds are not a bulk billing practice therefore payment is required at the time of your appointment. There is a HICAPS machine which accepts debit and credit cards, and your Medicare rebate can be claimed immediately. Cash payment can be accepted and personal invoices for bank deposits will be provided. There are times when Leanne may be able to offer a bulk billed appointment depending on circumstances. Please have a chat to see if there are any available.
If you are a participant with NDIS, you will need to provide your Plan Manager details prior to your appointment. The fee for service will be invoiced directly to the Plan Manager.
If you have been referred through Open Arms no payment will be required. Open Arms will be invoiced directly for the appointment.
Please discuss with Leanne, prior to your appointment if you are being funded by a 3rd party or experiencing financial difficulties.
* Cancellations & Rescheduling
The booking system has been designed to send you a friendly email reminder three days before your scheduled appointment with Leanne. Your time is valued, as well as Leanne's, and want to make sure that everyone gets the opportunity to benefit from the care and support offered.
Considering the effort and time Leanne dedicates to preparing for your session, it is kindly requested that if you find yourself unable to make it to your appointment or if you anticipate being late, please reach out as soon as possible. This courtesy allows us to offer your appointment slot to someone else in need and find a suitable time for you to reschedule.
To maintain the quality of our services and uphold the commitment to our clients, there is a standard cancellation and rescheduling policy in place. This policy ensures fairness and consistency for everyone. Here's a brief overview:

Late Cancellations or No Show:

If you provide less than 24 hours' notice (business days only) or do not attend your appointment, a 100% consultation fee will be applicable.

Cancellations within 48 hours:

If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours' notice (business days only), a 50% consultation fee will be applicable.

Additionally, please note that we reserve the right to charge you the FULL FEE for your appointment if you fail to attend without notice.
If you are able to reschedule to an available appointment in the same week there will not be a cancellation fee payable.
By booking an appointment you are agreeing to the above terms and will arrange payment of any fees outstanding.
Your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy are highly appreciated. By doing so, you not only help us maintain the quality of services but also enable Leanne to accommodate others who may be in urgent need of support.
